East Bay Select collects information you voluntarily submit, including business name, city, category, website URL, and contact email when submitting a listing request or category suggestion. We do not collect payment information directly — payments are processed by Stripe.

2. How We Use Your Information

Submitted information is used solely to evaluate listing eligibility, contact you regarding your submission, and publish your business listing. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Publicly Displayed Information

If your business is listed, your business name, city, category, phone number, website URL, and Select Grade will be publicly displayed to assist consumers in evaluating local businesses.

4. Cookies and Analytics

East Bay Select may use cookies and anonymous analytics tools to understand how visitors interact with the site. You may decline cookies via the consent banner. No personally identifiable information is collected through cookies.

5. AI Crawler Disclosure

East Bay Select is intentionally structured for indexing by AI-powered search engines including GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, and Google-Extended. By submitting your business for listing, you consent to your publicly displayed listing information being indexed and cited by AI search tools.

6. Data Requests and Removal

To request removal of your information, contact ebs@civallo.com. We will respond within 10 business days.

Terms of Use

Effective April 16, 2026 · East Bay Select

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using East Bay Select (“EBS”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.

2. Editorial Independence of The Select Grade™ — Critical Provision

East Bay Select retains sole and absolute editorial control over The Select Grade™ and all pillar scores assigned to any listed business. No payment, subscription, or commercial relationship of any kind influences, modifies, or affects The Select Grade™ or any component pillar score. A business owner’s payment for any EBS product constitutes express acknowledgment that their Select Grade™ is determined solely by EBS’s independent methodology and cannot be purchased, improved, or influenced by any financial transaction.

3. Claimed Listings

Businesses may purchase a Claimed or Claimed+ subscription to manage owner-editable content on their listing page. Claimed content must be accurate. Cancellation results in immediate removal of all owner-managed content and paid add-ons including logo display.

4. Listing Decisions

East Bay Select reserves the sole right to accept, reject, or remove any listing at any time. Payment of any fee does not guarantee listing acceptance.

5. Grandfathered Pricing

The first 25 businesses to subscribe to a Claimed or Claimed+ plan are eligible for grandfathered pricing at the rate active at subscription commencement. Cancellation forfeits grandfathered status permanently.

6. No Warranty

East Bay Select provides listings and grades for informational purposes only.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes shall be resolved in Alameda County, California.
